Like the ocean shuffling the waves from shore to shore, tide in, tide out;
the humanitarian aid supplies flow from one side of the Atlantic Ocean to the other. One box at a time, packed to the brim, each parcel represents love and care for one another.
Those chopping wood, tending to the farm, laboring hard each day will be so excited to receive a little muscle relief.
This shipment represents one of two that were sent from our Nazareth House in Augusta, Georgia headed up by Liz Holt. Although two boxes were sent, we are confident that the Salone Post will surely grant the delivery of the second box, too. We are thankful to our Nazareth House, Augusta who have also been working hard to raise funds for the Compound. They are very aware that NHA will not be able to provide and distribute the supplies such as you see on this blog today without the NHA Compound, the center of operations in Kabala. We cannot store and house supplies if we have no place of residency. We are quickly running out of time and we must raise the remaining balance due on the construction of the Compound. NHA positions itself within the villages that it serves. We have purposely chosen a sturdy structure that accommodates our needs – housing our staff, storage of our supplies and as a guest house for those visiting through NHA. A place of service to the people in need.
Our builder is at a stand still until he receives more funds. Please spread the word today, help us move NHA forward so that we can tend to the work at hand.

Other Nazareth House Chapters are creatively coming up with Events to raise money, including Nazareth House Chico, California who are in the planning stages of a Fundraising Walk-a-thon: “Pray Walk Love” for the work of NHA in Sierra Leone; scheduled for January 1st, 2011. When plans are complete we’ll forward more info.
Nazareth House represents Team Players from both sides of the Ocean. As aid arrives from the USA, our NHA Team in Sierra Leone puts it to work, changing lives for the better. Tide in, Tide out.

This is what it is all about; people working together, loving one another, doing what they can to boost up the lives of those who have fallen in the cracks, barely able to survive.
