Brief Mission Statement for Nazareth House Apostolate:
The Mission of Nazareth House Apostolate (TIN 26-0481542) is to provide for the poor, regardless of religion, race, ethnic background, etc. in areas of the world that are in turmoil from war or acts of nature.
NHA Income and Expenses Report 2010
2010 Donations Received: $95,332.96
(no individual donation was $5,000 or over)
(Most NHA contributions were made by individuals, however, some of the Companies or Organizations that contributed to NHA in 2010 include Google, Microsoft, Parishes & Organizations of Anglican Province of Christ the King, The American Church Union, Parishes & Outreaches (St. Theodore’s Chapel) of Diocese of the Holy Cross, Network for Good, Parishes of Anglican Church in North America, Parishes of United Episcopal Church of North America, Addresser Based Systems, Saluda Charitable Foundation,Odessa Fine Arts, Windsor Salons,Iglou Internet Services*,) *Iglou Internet Services provides free webhosting as their way of providing for NHA.
2010 Expenses:
Education (NHA built a school in Kabala, Sierra Leone which has 280 students) $10,574.87
Building of Compound for NHA to work out of: (Center of Operations in Kabala) $25,400.00
Humanitarian Aid $29,184.89 (includes: Medicines (internal parasite treatment @ $3 per pill; we’ve treated hundreds of people) & Medical Supply & healthcare, Food – rice for several villages throughout Sierra Leone, School fees for students in Freetown, petro for traveling, etc.)
Rent, utilities & maintenance of Operations Center in Freetown, Sierra Leone $12,000.00
Shipping & Postage $ 2,038.00 (includes the shipping of supplies – medical & humanitarian – from USA to Sierra Leone)
Mission Travel (carrying supplies to villages) $ 12,066.07 (includes airfare, accommodations, Foreign Travel Visa Fees, for 3 persons ministering from USA to Sierra Leone. Also includes our Administrator from Sierra Leone’s travel to USA for Board Meeting and medical examination in USA.)
Operational Supply & Equipment $ 3,576.37 (includes office supply, equipment, documentation & recording material)
Notes:
- No USA board members were reimbursed or compensated at anytime.
- James Mansaray is allotted $300 per month for living expenses while manning the St. Laurence House Center in Freetown and performing the NHA work in Sierra Leone
- No USA employees, no USA benefits paid, etc.
- Teachers in Kabala were paid $100 each per month as provision for them and the school. This is included in the EDUCATION EXPENSES.
- No rent paid in America for any facilities used by NHA.
